As part of implementing new CMS for the editorial team, the team was tasked to create a design system to support different content templates needed in providing an engaging and accessible online experience.

Process
Redesigned and delivered the public programme and editorial experience in agile and collaborative process.
Worked with curators, event managers and content editors to define the scope of the project and objectives
Audited existing content and usage data
Reviewed landscape within cultural and editorial sectors and shared insights with the team.
Recommended content model and information hierarchy for key content templates.
Collaborated with the UI designer to create initial set of core components for the design system.
Continuous learning and iteration based on usage data (engagement, heatmap and scroll depth) and user feedback. Worked with the team to organize A/B and make design recommendations .
Outcome
Resulted in design direction that showcase our eclectic content and diverse set of people involved in our public programme.
